Digital dashes make an ideal replacement a damaged analogue dash or for new kit car builds.

Kitcars
Wheels and tyre sizes on kitcars are typically different to those of the donor vehicle
and this makes the original analogue speedometer (from the donor vehicle) inaccurate.
Getting it recalibrated is likely to be expensive, so a common solution is to
fit one of the Acewell range of digital dashes with the required IVA test functions..
Motorcycles
The original manufacturers analogue dash will
often be damaged beyond economical repair following an accident. The
simpler and cheaper solution is to replace with an Acewell digital dash

Converting an "off road" quad bike for road use
will require an accurate speedometer and the solution is to fit a
